The Palmeraie is the palm-grove area on the outskirts of Marrakech. Its open ground, tracks and scattered palms offer a change of scenery from the busy Medina. Expect dry, dusty terrain and outdoor riding rather than the high sand dunes of the Sahara.

The quad activity adds an adventurous element, while the camel ride gives you time to enjoy the surroundings at a gentle pace. A guide leads each activity, and the quad session begins with an introduction to the controls. This is a guided excursion, so riders follow the guide’s route and instructions.

Pickup from Marrakech

Meet your driver at the confirmed hotel or meeting point. For riads in pedestrian areas of the Medina, collection is arranged at an accessible nearby location. Please provide your accommodation’s full name when booking so the team can confirm the practical pickup details.

Welcome and Quad Briefing

On arrival, meet the activity team and receive your helmet and goggles. Your instructor explains the controls and gives you an opportunity to practise before heading onto the route. Ask questions at this stage and let the guide know if you are new to quad biking.

2-Hour Quad Activity

Ride with your guide through the Palmeraie’s tracks and open landscapes. Follow the group’s pace, leave space between vehicles and keep both hands on the controls. The activity includes the guided experience and its stops; it should not be understood as two hours of uninterrupted driving.

1-Hour Camel Ride

Swap the quad for a camel and set off through the palm-grove surroundings with your guide. The traditional blue outfit and scarf are provided for this part of the experience. Follow the team’s instructions when mounting and dismounting, and take photographs when it is safe to do so.

The one-hour camel ride offers a relaxed way to experience the palm groves.

Mint Tea and Return Transfer

Enjoy a Moroccan mint tea break as part of the outing before your return to Marrakech. The order of the quad ride, camel ride and tea stop can change according to the day’s organisation. Allow approximately five hours overall, with some variation for traffic and shared pickups.

Pickup Times and Transport Options

The booking form offers departures at 9 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm, subject to availability. Select your preferred time and check the confirmed pickup instructions before your tour. Afternoon departures do not automatically guarantee a sunset ride.

Shared transport from central Marrakech is included. If your hotel is outside the city collection area, contact us before booking to confirm the meeting point or any additional transport arrangements. A riad address does not necessarily mean that a vehicle can reach its front door.

The form also offers private return transport for an additional €60 per booking. This is a transport upgrade; it does not automatically make the activities private. Ask the team if you need a fully private experience.

No previous quad experience is required: the automatic quads and introductory briefing make the activity accessible to beginners who can follow the instructor’s directions. The minimum quad-driving age is 16 years. For children, confirm ages and passenger arrangements with us before paying; not every child can participate in both activities in the same way.
