This package combines shorter riding activities with a meal and time to relax. It is a separate experience from the €95 premium package, which includes 2 hours of quad biking, a 1-hour camel ride, premium lunch and swimming pool access. Choose according to how much riding time you want and the meal experience you prefer.

Your 30-minute camel ride

Meet the camel team and follow their instructions for mounting, sitting comfortably and dismounting. The ride provides a slower introduction to Agafay’s open landscape, with dry hills and rocky scenery outside the city. Agafay is a stone desert, rather than a destination for the high sand dunes of the Sahara.

Keep your belongings secure during the ride and ask the handler when it is appropriate to take photographs. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that stay firmly on your feet. If you are travelling with children or have concerns about mounting a camel, discuss these with the team before booking so suitable arrangements can be confirmed.

Your 1-hour shared quad experience

The budget package includes one quad for two people for a 1-hour activity. This does not mean one hour of driving for each participant. The guide explains the riding arrangement and any driver changes on the day; only eligible participants can drive.

Before setting off, listen to the safety briefing and collect your equipment. Previous quad experience is not required, but you must follow the guide’s instructions, keep an appropriate distance from other riders and stay on the designated route. Expect dusty tracks and uneven rocky ground. Photo stops should only be taken where the guide indicates it is safe.

If you prefer an individual quad, ask about availability and any extra charge before reserving. An individual quad is not included in the €45 shared package, and an upgrade should not be assumed to be available on arrival. Groups with an odd number of participants should confirm the quad allocation in advance.

Lunch and swimming pool at camp

After the riding activities, enjoy lunch at a desert camp and time by the swimming pool. This gives the outing a relaxed finish before returning to Marrakech. Lunch and pool access are included, while drinks with lunch are paid separately. Bottled water provided during the activities does not mean unlimited drinks at camp.

Tell the team about vegetarian requests or food allergies before booking and confirm what can be accommodated. The menu and camp arrangements may vary, so ask in advance if a particular meal or venue is essential to your plans.

Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Pool access is part of the scheduled camp visit, not an unrestricted all-day pass. Do not assume the pool is heated or reserved exclusively for your group. If swimming is your main reason for booking, confirm availability for your date, as weather, maintenance and camp operations can affect access. Adults must supervise children around the pool.

Itinerary and total duration

1. Marrakech pickup: meet your driver at the confirmed hotel or accessible meeting point.
2. Transfer to Agafay: leave the city and travel to the activity base.
3. Briefing and activities: meet the guides, enjoy the 30-minute camel ride and join the 1-hour shared quad experience.
4. Lunch and pool: head to camp for your meal and relaxation time.
5. Return transfer: travel back to Marrakech after the camp visit.

Allow approximately 5–6 hours for the complete outing, including transport, preparation, both activities, lunch and pool time. The activity order and return time depend on shared pickups and local arrangements. Keep some flexibility in your plans afterward.

Pickup from Marrakech

The booking form lists a 9 am departure. Provide your hotel or riad name and a reachable telephone number so the team can confirm your exact pickup time and location. Shared transport covers central Marrakech; Medina guests may need to meet at the nearest accessible parking area.

Accommodation outside the shared pickup zone requires advance confirmation. A private return transfer is available in the form for an additional €80 per booking. Private transport does not make the riding activities or camp facilities exclusive to your group.

Participation requirements and what to bring

Bookings start at 2 participants. Quad drivers must be at least 16 years old; contact the team with the ages of younger travellers to confirm passenger eligibility. Tell us about any mobility concerns or uncertainty about taking part before making payment.
