Agafay is a rocky desert with stony tracks and open hills near Marrakech. The route and views offer a change from the city; this is not a trip to the tall sand dunes of the Sahara.

Your Afternoon and Evening Itinerary

1. Shared pickup from Marrakech

Meet your driver at your confirmed pickup point. For Medina riads, an accessible parking area or meeting point is used when vehicles cannot reach the door. The exact departure depends on the season and pickup route.

2. Safety briefing and shared quad activity

Meet the activity team, receive your safety equipment and listen to the instructions before riding. Follow the guide along the desert trails during the one-hour shared quad activity, keeping to the instructed pace and route.

3. A 30-minute camel ride

Continue with a shorter camel experience through the Agafay landscape. The team assists with mounting and explains how to sit during the ride. There are opportunities for photographs, but the ride is not guaranteed to coincide with sunset.

4. Moroccan dinner and show

Settle into the camp for dinner and evening entertainment. Enjoy the meal and the music and fire performance in the camp programme. Dishes, performance order and timing can vary, so no particular menu or show sequence is guaranteed.

5. Return to Marrakech

Your shared transfer returns to Marrakech after the programme. Allow approximately seven hours for the complete outing and some flexibility for traffic and shared pickups. The order of activities may change to suit daylight and local arrangements.

Price, Deposit and Payment

The standard package costs €40 per person, with a minimum booking of two participants. The online deposit is €40 per booking and is deducted from your total.

Choose your date and participant count, then enter your hotel or riad details. Complete the €40 deposit payment through PayPal after submitting your booking details. The remaining balance is paid in cash upon arrival. Dinner drinks are separate purchases.

For children, guests who will not take part in both rides or groups larger than eight, contact us before booking for the correct arrangements and total. Dinner-only child rates should not be assumed to apply to this combined activity package.

Pickup and Practical Information

The booking form shows 4 pm as an indicative departure. Pickup may be earlier in shorter-day seasons to allow time for activities before dark. Follow the exact time and location in your confirmation, rather than relying on a fixed year-round schedule.

Shared pickup covers Marrakech city centre and accessible meeting points near Medina riads. Hotels outside the shared pickup area may require a city meeting point or separately arranged transport. Send us the accommodation name to confirm coverage before paying.

Wear closed shoes and comfortable clothes that can get dusty. Bring sun protection, a charged phone and an extra layer for the evening. Secure loose belongings during the quad activity and follow the guide’s instructions.

Participation: quad drivers must be at least 16. Contact us with children’s ages to confirm passenger eligibility and camel arrangements before booking.
